Rankings and Accreditation

Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD)

The Business School has CIPD accreditation for the MSc Management (Human Resource Management) programme. Students may register for and work towards the CIPD Advanced Diploma in Human Resource Management

To undertake this qualification, students must:
• Register for the CIPD ‘Developing Skills for Business and HR Leadership’ course. Workshops take place once a week at the Business School during Terms 1 & 2
• Register for at least one of the optional modules BUSI49Z15 Employee Reward Strategy (takes place in Term 2) or BUSI45L15 Human Resource Development (takes place in Term 3)
• Achieve a mark of 50% or above in all modules (compensation is not permitted)
• Select an HR topic for the dissertation, include recommendations for practice and a reflective statement
• Be enrolled as a Student Member of the CIPD for the duration of the programme.

Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT)

The Business School has CILT (UK) accreditation for the MSc Management (Supply Chain Logistics) programme. This offers a fast track route to Assessed Membership of the CILT (UK).

Students may apply for full-time student membership and upon graduating, will receive exemption from the academic requirements of the appropriate Assessed Membership grade.
