Full-Time MBA/Student Enrolment Process

The Student Enrolment System opens eight weeks before the start of your programme. However you will need to make sure that you have accepted your place, paid your deposit, met any offer conditions, and allowed time for the Admissions Team to process your acceptance before you can enrol. During busy periods this can take a couple of weeks from receipt of your acceptance.
After your acceptance has been processed you will receive two email messages from email@example.com which provide:
• Your Computing and Information Services (CIS) username
• How to derive your CIS password and guidance on how to access the system
The messages are sent 24 hours apart and are sent to the email address you provided when you applied so it’s important to let us know of any changes to this information.
You may also need to monitor your spam folders to see if the messages have arrived there.
After you have received both emails you will need to:
• Change your password
• Log into Durham University Online – duo
• Choose the “Banner Self Service” link in duo under “External Tools”
• Choose Registration and Enrolment
• Enrol with the University
• Upload a photograph for your campus card
The Student Enrolment System provides the opportunity to upload a photograph for your Campus Card. If you complete online enrolment and upload a photograph by Tuesday 11th September your campus card should be available to collect from your College upon your arrival. We strongly recommend that you do this - otherwise you will need to collect your Campus Card from the University's Computing Information Services desk located within the Bill Bryson library. Please note: when uploading your photograph, it should be saved in JPEG file format and be 194 x 234 pixels. Other sizes and formats may not be accepted by the Enrolment system which will delay the production and receipt of your Campus Card.
In order to ensure the smooth transition from applicant to MBA student when you arrive in Durham at the start of your programme please ensure that you have completed online enrolment before the start of the course on the 24th September.

Verification of Identity
Verification of identity takes place at your college.
We accept the following photographic identification as proof of identity: current passport, current driving licence or current European identity card. If you are a UK student and you do not have any of these forms of identification, you may supply your original Birth Certificate. You will be required to show this documentation to a member of staff at your College during the first few days of your arrival in Durham.
As a Full-Time student your core modules will automatically be registered on the University system, however you will need to confirm which Pathway modules you wish to study.
Consultancy Pathway: Management Consultancy / Project Management
Entrepreneurship Pathway: Entrepreneurial Management and Corporate Entrepreneurship / New Venture Creation
Technology Pathway: Business Analytics / Technology Innovation
Please note that this selection is for the initial purposes of registration and can be changed once the MBA Programme has commenced.
As mentioned in your offer letter, you will need to bring original degree certificates, transcripts and, where applicable, English Language certificates with you to Registration if they have not already been seen by Admissions staff.
